PreventionWeb is the global disaster risk reduction (DRR) knowledge platform with over 210,000 monthly visitors. The platform is managed by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR). The site is dedicated to providing the latest news, research, and publications regarding DRR, curating information packages on emerging topics, and providing a community space to support DRR professionals.

PreventionWeb connects decision-makers and practitioners, researchers and communities to the knowledge they need to successfully reduce risk locally, nationally and regionally. The platform allows audiences from around the world to access current, industry-relevant information resources that they can use to inform their practice and support DRR activity implementation on the ground. Users can also tap into a wealth of resources to grow their skills and career, and connect with other professionals and organizations.
