Participatory workshop on the climate service for the wine sector
The H2020 funded MED-GOLD project aims to make European agriculture more resilient to climate change by developing climate services for three key Mediterranean crops. In this workshop, the dashboard tool will be showcased and discussion will be held on the potential usability of this tool in the wine sector.

The LIFE SHARA project finishes: Fostering awareness and governance for adaptation to climate change
The EU funded LIFE SHARA project (Sharing awareness and governance of adaptation to climate change), has strengthened the network of collaboration between Spain and Portugal in climate change adaptation. In addition, the generation and transfer of knowledge has been boosted through the creation of a technical platform for adaptation to climate change “AdapteCCA”.

The sixth edition of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Adaptation Gap Report: 'The Gathering Storm' looks at how Europe and the entire world is doing in adapting to the impacts of climate change. The report finds that there is an urgent need to step up climate adaptation finance.

This event addresses the need for smarter, faster and systemic climate change adaptation. It convenes leaders and practitioners to discuss solutions for key obstacles hindering adaptation action. The International Guidelines are a set of real-world guidelines resulting from a ten years of work of building, learning, and documenting the best practices for constructing Natural and Nature-Based Features (NNBF). The NNBF Guidelines is intended to inform the efforts of practitioners, organizations, and communities seeking to increase the performance of Floods Risk Management (FRM) systems and achieve long‑term risk mitigation, increase water infrastructure resilience and sustainability, reduce infrastructure maintenance and repair costs, and, ultimately, increase the value produced by FRM infrastructure investments

Publication and Report application/x-troff-ms Do governments track the implementation of national climate change adaptation plans? An evidence-based global stocktake of monitoring and evaluation systems
Highlights • More than 60% of countries that adopted a national adaptation plan (NAP) are not tracking its implementation. • 23 countries have published a NAP implementation report and 15 have undertaken a NAP evaluation, almost twice as many as 2017. • Almost 40% of countries reporting on NAP implementation are developing countries but only three are Least Developed Countries. • The number of countries engaged in developing or using mechanisms to track NAP implementation has increased by 40% since 2017. • NAP M&E systems support reporting on adaptation progress under the Global Stocktake of the Paris Agreement.
